Our family took part in Nanaimo's Polar Bear Swim this year, and Rosalie was one of the last remaining "bears" in the water. She stayed in for 20 minutes, and only came out because the first aid attendants ordered the hardy participants out of the water.

Jackie, your children are adorable. Dad (uncle Marc) made the following comment after watching Evelynn on the news: "Those are good engineering-style answers 'yes... no... cold...' Her answers are very to-the-point." Congratulations to Rosalie, I could not have lasted 20 minutes, even in your balmy Pacific waters.
