team work

I just attended a major fundraising event last night that I was supposed to have been in charge of. As it turns out, I did absolutely nothing to help. I didn't organize anything, I didn't solicit donations. I did not wrap gifts, purchase anything, sell tickets, or call anyone. I didn't keep a spreadsheet, write anything down or make a list. Guess what? The night was a huge success. I'm part of a great team who pulled together and picked up all the pieces. I'm amazed by the way people are supporting me. I feel so lucky to be part of a huge, caring community. Thank you everyone for being there for me.
