Lucas' view

Lucas and I spent the afternoon shopping for some running shoes , pants and shirts for him. He was willing to spend the afternoon with me in this way. In fact, he suggested it. As we were driving to one store, I asked him how he would feel if I were to have both breast removed. He looked at me as if I had asked what he would do if we were out of milk. He said, "Mom, as long as you're alive, I won't care at all. They could amputate your head and stick your brain in your tummy, and that would be fine with me. " There you have it  - case closed.

I love Lucas' statement - your brain in your tummy... how creative is that?

When will you be having the double masectomy? before or after Chemo? big hugs to you & the kids!

I probably won't have the surgery until after the chemo, but hopefully I will find out all the details this Tuesday.
