My Hair Story

The new me. I look a lot like the old me.

January 2010. My hair has gotten out of control.
It's been a year since I've had it cut.

Look at the back. There's even a spiral effect going on.

Five months post-chemo, at the "Run for the Cure".
I like this chemo-style hair the best.

August 2009. Three months post-chemo.
I'm starting to get a lot of curls, especially in the back.
The hair is coming back thick and grey.

May 2009. Two weeks after chemo is over.
I feel comfortable going out in public wearing a cap.

May 6, 2009. Celebrating the end of chemotherapy sessions with ice cream floats.

April 2009. Hair is starting to regrow after 4th treatment.

The race is on! Who's hair is growing faster?

Thanks for the birthday gift, Mom!

March 2009. Halfway through chemo.

My wig, which I loved the look of, but did not like the feel of. I never wore it.

Who's up for a game of pool?

January 2009, time for a shave. 19 days after the first chemo treatment.

Taken in December 2008, before I started treatment.

Awww... what a great story. Your hair grew back so much faster and so much better than mine. I'm jealous!! Congratulations on finding a piece of your "old" self again.

And thank you for the inspirational quote on my blog. Loved it.

Keep moving down the path!
